The return
Vice City is Rockstar's Miami, and GTA VI marks the first mainline return since the 2002 classic. This is not a nostalgia trip: the new Vice City is contemporary, dense with smartphones, influencers and livestreams, all of which feature heavily in the trailers.

- Nightlife: clubs, muscle beaches and street racing culture

City versus state
Unlike 2002, Vice City is one region of a much larger map. The state of Leonida wraps around it with the Keys to the south, wetlands inland and towns like Port Gellhorn up the coast.
