If you searched for a GTA 6 collector's edition, this is the closest thing Rockstar is selling. The Goodtime State: Vice City Collection is a premium box of Leonida-themed merchandise that went up for pre-order on the Rockstar Store on September 24, 2026. It costs 399.99 US dollars, it ships from launch day, and it does not include the game, a disc or a download code.

Below is the full item list, regional pricing, the purchase rules and an honest look at who it is for. If you just want the game, the Standard and Ultimate editions are the only ways to buy it.

Why the game is not included

Rockstar has not given a reason, but the decision fits how GTA 6 is being sold overall. There is no game disc for GTA 6 at all: the physical Standard Edition box contains a download code, and the Ultimate Edition is digital only. Keeping the collectibles separate means anyone can buy the box, whichever edition and platform they play on, and it avoids tying a limited physical product to a region-locked code.

The reaction has been mixed. Polygon called the box the latest example of a horrible trend in collector's editions, and plenty of fans pointed out that a $400 item without the game is a hard sell. Others see it as straightforward merchandise, closer to a premium fan box than a traditional collector's edition.

Stock, resale and scalpers

As of mid-October the box had not been reported sold out on the Rockstar Store, though it is listed as limited. Resale listings on eBay have appeared at between roughly $799 and $1,500, which is far above the retail price for an item that is still in stock. If you want one, buy it directly from the Rockstar Store rather than paying a reseller.

Is the Vice City Collection worth it?

It depends entirely on what you want from it. As a way to play GTA 6, no: it adds nothing to the game. As a display piece, the Macca figure, the Leonida map poster and the pin set are the items most fans single out, and the Oakley Frogskins and New Era cap carry real retail value on their own.

If you are on a budget, the better buy is the game itself plus one or two pieces from the regular Rockstar Store collection, which launched on October 8 with t-shirts and caps at about $29.99 and a tote and Zippo lighter at about $39.99.
